Driving Lessons from a TWO YEAR OLD.

So, Ty finally got his Cozy Coupe, and he's ready for the open roads. Here are his driving instructions:

1. Smile about your newly acquired vehicle, of which you have waited for for 2 long years!
2. Wave goodbye to your family and friends as you embark on your first joyride!

3. Rev your "engine" Fred Flinstone style.

4. Turn that key, start it up...the MUSIC that is!

5. There's no shame in letting people see you while you drive and sing! Belt it out! "I want to seeeee youuu."

6. Get down to business, steer that car around all those crazy twists and turns. (Or rather, all those 2 inches of driveway you can cover with those two little feet.)

7. Oh no, time to fill 'er up. Gas is so expensive these days...

8. Try to steal gas pump...yikes!

9. Drive away just as fast as you can, 10 & 2 remember Ty? None of that "I'm too cool" holding the steering wheel with one hand there Mister!
**May your next carride be as joyful as Ty's first! (Though, you might have some different rules to guide you!)

What do you do on a Rainy Day?

So, it's a rainy day in Cincinnati, what does a little boy do??? He gathers up his "Bubble Drill" and his trusty ol' yellow raincoat and explores the world around him...
Oh yeah, billions of bubbles! (Ty still maintains that it's a drill.)

Look at that bubblicious action!

With a running start, he speeds down the driveway...

And he's back on his hill ready to do it again!

Let's visit that puddle just one more time!

I think he sees a bigger puddle off in the distance...

Puddle jumping, the best little boy sport there is!

Again and again!

Rain will not keep this motorist off the roads, he's going out for a joy ride! In the puddles and all!

Once back inside on dry land, what better way to nourish oneself than with a nice, fresh
PB & J....

Easter and Zoo Fun!

A family photo-op, now only if Ty would say "cheese" long enough to complete it!" Thanks Aunt Mary for helping me find this egg!"
Run Run Run!

Ty having a very serious discussion with Uncle Dale (which may or may not have involved Ty being asked if he would like to have a beer!).

Aunt Ann and Ty at the Zoo! (Thanks to Ann for going with us, I NEVER would have been able to manage 2 kids alone at the Zoo yet!)

Blooms!

Nana G & Ty at Montgomery Inn on Easter Sunday

Ty wearing his new apron from GG & Grandpa (he had to be JUST LIKE mommy!).

A little video of Ty having quite a time with rustling the leaves with a stick he found at the Zoo...not sure if this was allowed or not, but he was just having the best time...so I allowed it! :)

More Banks Pics

I couldn't post without including a picture from his beloved bath, and his letters. He did this on his own and does so frequently! He also likes to spell "boots", "mom", and "regan" too.
He will point out anything that has "t" and "y" in it-the other day I was showing him pictures in a magazine and he saw on the adjacent page an ad for Tylenol and of course he pointed it out and said very matter of factly, "TY!"

There's the chef right there! (Chef Boyardee I think!) He likes to make this crazy face when I put his "shirt hat" on him!

Mmm, mac and cheese and corn!

Banks, don't worry, he will be older soon and you guys will be playing ball in the back yard. Just give it some time, hang in there!

It totally looks like Banks might be contemplating taking a little sip of this "hot coffee" Ty is offering him!
