Ty WUZ HERE

The following pictures are common sites you will see if Ty has been around...they're all very characteristic of him. He is adjusting to our new home very well and makes his mark wherever he goes!

1. You have to hide all the vacuums or "vacuums" (anything he can push around he will call a "little vacuum"!) you have or else he will push them around the house wherever he goes ALL DAY LONG! Note: only let these out during times of extreme boredom and parental tolerance!

2. Anything you own with letters will usually have the "T" and "Y" missing since he has toted them off somewhere to spell his wonderful name :) (We still haven't found the repsective ones for this toy!)

3. Any toiletries that you don't have tied down to your cabinets will be dutifully splayed out each morning and evening at bathing times, with Ty instructing you which product will be used (and he DOES know which product is who's and how you use it!)

4. ANOTHER hidden "vacuum".

5. Look closely. What do you notice about most of these drawer pulls? Ty will make sure that each one (almost!) is positioned upwards. This is perhaps the most tell-tale sign that Ty has been here! And the most subtle, but adorable.

6. And finally, last but not least, you can tell Ty has been here by the titles of the books that have been strategically hidden so that endless readings do not have to be endured! We've chosen to hide any "potty books" and "Squirrels Tale". This may seem cruel but after reading about potties, sinks, and flushes for the 4,000th time, you start to tire of the repeated readings! And seriously, how many times can one listen to "Where have my nuts gone?!" (courtesy of the Squirrel's Tale!). Authors Note: We do read to Ty TONS, so he is not denied that, it's just when we have to read a book a billion times, we start to put it in "circulation" in our home library!
So, what else tells YOU that Ty has been to your house???? We're curious!
