Is summer here to stay?

Ty has picked up a new skill.

 

He practices daily.

On a beautiful Saturday night we went to a Reds game and had Brian, Haley, Gunnar and Scout come along too :)

We also had a fun, but cold, fieldtrip to Krohn Conservatory for the Butterfly Show…

 

 

Can you sense Marlo’s anxiety in this picture?? She did NOT like it when the butterfly landed on her. 

Ty, however, was ready and willing to hold the little critters.

She was curious though, and actually got this close…

Okay, is warmer/decent weather really here to stay this time?  Evidenced by today’s weather, I’d say a resounding yes.  We just returned from Ty’s make-up soccer game where it was approximately 115 degrees on the turf and we are covered in sunscreen.  We better not have to break out the winter coats and hats and mittens again (as we did at Ty’s school picnic this past Wednesday!).
