So, yeah, winter happened.

We seemed to have received our whole winter season in the span of a week! No school for a week and LOTS of staying home and making do. It's been really great, actually.
Today was the most perfect snow (about 4 or 5" of it as we woke up and still going strong as I type this), making sledding and snowball making and snowman crafting so easy and enjoyable. Here is our morning in pictures...

We are starting to have piles of snow taller than our children!

Igloo making was finally possible. Ty was so giddy about this...

Marlo got right to work on making her very own snowman. She really worked hard at rolling up huge snowballs all on her own.

An ill-placed carrot nose. It could have been worse.

Tire swings aren't just for summer months!

And here's just about the most darling sight ever. While I was out in the wintry wonderland with the older three, Tom was inside with BoBo. Every once in a while I would hear a little tap or knocking...and there he'd be...do you see him!?

And here's the vantage point from inside...

Who knows, we may even suit back up and head out again after naps. But boy oh boy, this couch feels good...
