We took the kids to Kenwood Mall one weekend, and let Ty try out (the money sucking) Build a Bear.Here's Ty choosing his black bear...
Choosing a heart for his bear...which he rubbed on his head to make his bear smart, rubbed on his heart to give it love and hugged it. *Everyone with me now..."awwwwwwwwww"*
The Build a Bear employee assisting him with his bear-making was telling him what to do...
"Put that special heart right in here."...
After filling him with stuffing from the machine she asked him if he felt just the right amount of cuddly for him. He approved.
Ty had a chance to give his new Bear a (air) bath, he declined.
Dressing his new bear in, you guessed it, Spiderman gear! (THAT was how we spent so much money there!)
"How do you like him Ty?"...
Is that a contented boy or what?!?
At the computers we entered pertinent information and address. Ty had to choose a name for his bear, and he came up with the highly creative "Barney".
Marlo enjoyed the entire process from her stroller! What a good girl you are Sissy! You'll get a $40 build a bear one of these days soon!
Barney got to join us at Cheesecake Factory for dinner (though we didn't order him anything-he already was an expensive date that day!)
This weekend we went to Burger Farm to enjoy the games, animals, rides, shows and the awesome sights and smells of Fall!
