Here we are in school year 2014-2015!
I think summers pass exponentially faster the more children you have enrolled in school, it's just some weird law.
Here is Ty's first day of second grade. Marlo was chomping at the bit to get on the bus too, but those kindergartners need to be phased in over a few days.
The big day is here! Here are the two of them headed up to the bus stop. Ty was being such a good big brother and explaining each and every little detail of the bus ride, the hallways, the toilets (!).
Either the kids were jumping for joy at being able to get back to the routine of school or the earth was quaking because these siblings were getting along so well!
And there goes Buddha, always the "hey, wait for me!" presence.

I can't even imagine the day when I scoot ALL these little stinkbugs off on the bus.

Yep Marlo, always pay attention to and listen to your bus driver. Here she is giving you a very important directive, "Turn around dear so your mother can snap a picture."!
She is so ready.
And while this photo might seem like a mistake, alas it is not. The bus was backing up so it could turn around and the shrill beeping noises caused little Bo Bo to start dancing in his cute little head-bobbing way. Every. Single. Day he does this.
Look at those little faces.
Look at that little hand.
Cue the tears.
Coming soon: Mia begins preschool. Oh lord, help us all.
