Easter Morning, I woke up (kind of like Christmas!) early and took pictures of the scene of the kids’ Easter baskets hidden in the dining room.
Ty came down from bed, and ran through the kitchen on the HUNT for his basket! He was convinced that it was under his blue table in the playroom…
He found his goodies! Which included no less than 5 new tools and various other tool-themed STUFF!
Then Miss Marlo woke (and insisted her blankie stay with her!) and got to see what the Easter Bunny left for her…
One of their gifts was a Zhu Zhu (sp?) pet, black and white for Ty and a pink one for Marlo, of course! It was quite funny watching them chase them around the hardwood floors, and of course Banks was a little skittish around them!
I LOVE this picture so much! Marlo was being such a cutie patootie-soaking up the attention while Ty was figuring out how to play Uno. Oh wait, not just Uno…it was HANDY MANNY Uno of course!!!
After our morning at home, and a very packed church service we headed off to Aunt Connie and Uncle Dale’s for the Holterman Easter celebration!
Then we tried one on the chair…
After the Holterman celebration we headed back East for the Regan celebration! We had an AWESOME cookout, some playtime outside and plenty of shenanigans with hidden eggs (REAL, dyed, hardboiled eggs!). Here’s a pic of Marlo helping out in the kitchen as we were cleaning up. I’m bummed I didn’t get more pictures of that night, my camera battery went out-grrrr! I have to add that yesterday we went to the Opening Day parade (for which my camera was STILL not charged…..double GRRRR!), and as I get out of our car and open up the double stroller, what did I find in the stroller pocket????????? Thanks Regan boys! I don’t know which one of you it was, but THANKS for the EGG!
