The stuff he comes up with...

Phone rings.

Sarah: "Hello?"

Tommy, on other line "Hey babe, what's up for tonight? Dinner plans?"

Sarah: "We're starting without you but there's plenty here for you!"

Kids screaming in background, clanging of silverware, food being tossed, etc.

Sarah: "Okay, I really gotta go...Bye, love ya!"

Pause...

Ty: "Who was that?"

Sarah: "Who do you think it was?"

Ty: "Daddy!"

Sarah "Yep."

Long pause.

Ty: "Is Daddy coming over tonight?"

!!!!!!!

Later on this same evening...

Tommy: "Hey Ty, where does Daddy live?"

Ty: "At the office!"

**Funny how this kid-logic is already taking root in Ty at the young age of 3! I remember how when I taught preschool the kids thought I actually lived at school, and reacted quite funny when they saw me out at a different venue (grocery, bookstore, etc.), or they thought I lived with Susan, the woman I taught with...

Ty has a neverending repertoire of doosies! I'm glad for this blog so that I can record them all!
