Birthday Central!

March has been (and will continue to be!) SUPER busy for us. 

It’s a rare thing to have a whole lot of one on one time with Mommy, but when the kids do get to be with just me, it is such a fun time for all.  Ty was away on a sleep over at GG & Grandpa’s so Marlo was able to participate in her FAVORITE little toddler activity.

It cost me NOTHING.  It made ZERO mess.  And it provided over an HOUR of enjoyment!

She REALLY approved of it!

 

Ty seems to be on the month-long plan of celebrating his birthday, for a while there he thought that with each celebration he was turning ANOTHER year older!  If that were the case, after today he’d be 6 years old.

He got to have another Mr. John party at the gym again, and he completely loved it.

Then it was upstairs for some refueling!  A snacking-type lunch, cake, and presents!

 

One of Ty’s favorite gifts at this party was the assortment of swords he received (the trend toward weapon-love continues, just you wait!).  He is a kind of enough brother to share with his little sis, and since we had to pooped out kiddos after this party, we whisked them home quickly and let them take a quick one hour snooze.  When we went in to wake them up, this is what we found……………………………………..

 

Next, on March 19 (Ty’s actual birthday) we had a LARGE, whole family gathering for BOTH kids’ birthdays!

Here comes some more sword obsession…Ty’s very favorite gift, his Peter Pan sword!  (At this very moment, he is napping with it in his bed, no joke!)

Ann got in some snuggle time with Miss Scout-awwww!

I’ve conceded to the fact that this is what my great room will look like for the next several weeks while the kids play with all of their new toys!  The toys just keep creeping out from the playroom!
