So, in what I thought was going to be an easy-peasy trip to the dentist-Ty threw us for a loop and his innaugural visit to the pediatric dentist...
The shades are just too much!
And I finally caught a picture of the lovely "Statue of Liberty" *fool* standing outside of the tax place. If you follow me on facebook, you know I had a post up about the insanity of this practice. I mean, really? Do they really think I desire to have them do my taxes because they're standing outside in a costume waving at people driving by...moving on...
Here we are at Fuji Steakhouse, a Benihana-type place with Hibachi grills and entertaining chefs and cooking going on throughout the meal. Marlo was IN LOVE with our cook, and Ty was in awe of the flames. This is a horrible photo because it was taken with my cell phone, but I'm not kidding, this is how they stayed for most of the meal! Bliss!
Here's a Ty one-liner for ya': So, Ty had woken up before Marlo one morning, and he and I were snuggling in his bed. A very tender moment as we listened to the birds chirping (which I feel like we haven't heard in FOREVER!), talked about what he dreamed about, etc. Then the door slams open and Banks barges in, looking for someone to feed him no doubt. He walks up to Ty's bed and starts sniffing at Ty's face, saying Goodmorning in his own way :) As Ty and Banks are face to face, Ty exclaims, "Banks has eyes." "Yes, he does Ty." (Though, I felt like saying "duh", but I spared him the juvenile slang...for now.) Then he said, "His eyes are brown. (Long pause) Like chocolate. (Longer pause)...and POOOOOOP!" So sweet Ty, I'll be sure to sign that one up for a Hallmark Card contest!
